Hi Bean!

Welcome ... SA? we will not hold it against you only because of your concrete stand ... oh and that Triumph bike :P

What make is your anvil ... and what are you using for a forge?

LOL do tell?? after hours on the net I cant find out who TOMCO was , all I can get is 64 Kgs, as for the forge im open to the best type to run. Oh the Thunderbird it suites my smashed up 56 year old body lol I had a few hyperbikes till 4 yrs ago, long story was my own fault.

I agree. Triumph, Norton, BSA, AJS were the real bikes for us in the 60ties. The much tooted Harleys no one wanted them. We called them straight line bolids, no handling no braking abilities and heavy as a tank. The police in those days had changed from 40ties and 50ties Harleys to BMW and very happy. The harleys sat in warehouses in the hundreds, awaiting auctions and the rare interested party who could buy them for a song and a dance.

The BMW were good but too expensive and they had this bad habit of seizing up on the highway if you loaded them up.
