Hammers and tongs

Recommended Posts

Set of two hammers, and 3 sets of tongs for a trade. 2 sets of bolt tongs one to hold 3/4 round and square, the other to hold 1/4, and a set of flat bar tongs. One cross pein and a smaller version, larger is 1.5 pounds, the smaller is about 1/2 pound. Handles are hickory.

Even though that hammer is only 1.5 pounds, it hits HARD.

Thanks guys! Aaron, I like these handles in the shape they are too, but I LOVE the contoured handle I did on the japanese/euro style hammer I made a bit better only because I can get and shape them to fit my hand perfectly, hard to do for others. Larry, I gorund them out from a replacement sledgehammer handle from Home Depot, the ones I found atthe hardware store as replacements were crappy and would not fit my eye holes. Follow JR's BP on making hammers and mounting them, it is now the only way I would ever mount a hammer, it works so amazingly well.
