Daswulf
Hello Matt. I'm sorry I can't help on the anvil identification but if you could post more pictures of it in its own thread and please don't quote a whole post like that. If there is something specific you are trying to quote from a post you can select that portion and hit the "quote this" button.
the iron dwarf
is that the only marking on it? no handling holes? numbers what does it look like underneath? if you had read the post you just quoted in full you would know a lot more looks to be forged not cast value will depend on maker, size, condition, and where in the world it is is it london pattern, soho, or anyone of a hundred more types what condition is the face in?? what was the result of the rebound test? Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome to IFI Matt. To get the best out of the forum I suggest you read this thread. Can't really help with the value without more info like the location and lots more pictures.
Black Frog
That is the Fagersta Bruk mark. Made in Sweden. I'm guessing this is on a Columbian pattern anvil?
MC Hammer
Let's see more pictures please! Never heard of a Fagersta Bruk from Sweden & would like to see it.
Black Frog
It will look like a normal Columbian pattern anvil. Some have the reverse "FB" mark on them, from Sweden.
