Take a cool shower to remove particles before turning up the temperature. Hot water opens your pores and allows crud to enter your skin. Great, now I have to wait til next month to re-line my forge. I've already had my shower!
Frosty
Sometimes timing is everything isn't it? Are you old enough to remember the scary times in the cold war when people were building bomb shelters and stocking them to wait out the fallout's half life till it was safe to emerge? Somewhere I have a number of the old how to survive the atomic war books. They were full of actually useful info like how to make a REALLY efficient air filter from rolls of toilet paper or how to make an isolation suit from garbage bags and duct tape. Some visquene or garbage bags, duct tape and ingenuity and you can protect yourself from haz mats and your friends and relatives from that last week before shower day. Hmmmm? Frosty The Lucky. Binesman
or just wait till it's raining and work the blanket outside...of course you should always be working with ceramic blanket outside imo.
ThomasPowers
You're NOT building your forges in a hard vacuum? (Or under water...)
