DavidC
I have an old American Manufacturing no.5 vice along with a couple of attachments, see pic. It has a 4 inch max opening. Anyone have any idea value.
ThomasPowers
Finding a tool collecting site might give a better price as we're blacksmiths for the most part and that would not be very useful in a smithy compared to a post vise or huge old chipping vise. (While it's been made to look like it could be used as an anvil; those vises are generally hollow cast iron in the "anvil" section and will shatter when used for smithing and so are good for straightening nails and bending light strap.) I'll see if the 1897 or 1908 Sears Catalogs show a similar one. Also over 150 countries participate here; as prices are often location dependent, providing the LOCATION is important.
