Reeg
Finally safe at home in my shop. This is my first hammer so I have a lot to learn. It appears to be in good shape for an early LG. I ordered the Little Giant DVD set from Mr. Rice. Figured I'll start there before going amy farther.

Reeg
Can anyone tell me what this is for? Counterweight of sort? Thanks Reese
BeaverNZ
If its off center it may to help counter ballance the crank so it stops with tupp up. Is that a Ford or Chev pannel van/delivery lurking in the background? Im into hotrods too Cheers Beaver On second look its probably a thrust block to take any load from the clutch but Im just guessing
Reeg
Thanks for the info Beaver. It's not attached so It can be moved back and forth. Oh and it's a 1951 Ford Panel Delivery.
dsloan
More than likely the collar was used to control end play, front to rear. It's a very clean hammer good score. The video's will tell you all you need to know. Dave from diller
