Daswulf original is ... probably one of riveted iron rivet and some kind of glue-binder.
I did two and copper.

The neotribal metalsmiths experimented a lot using pitch (often mixed with powdered herbivore dung---PHD) as a "natural glue and filler.

Thanks Ibor, I was just curious. 

Nice to see a reproduction of a mainland seax rather than the typical broken back seaxs that you see so often, well done.
