Absolutly, I have a few different sizes I want to monkey around with. 2 hours ago, Jackdawg said: Nice job. Got a lump of rail iron I want to stand on end like that, but I was thinking of "sharpening" one of the flanges (? not sure if right term) to make a cut off "built right in" so to speak.. And radiusing the other so it was a nice curved surface to work on for fiddly bits - like a mini horn. Thank you. I have seen lots of different things done. I've seen a couple fellows do the cut off on one side and even ground a fuller in the web.
October 22, 20169 yr Looks great Ray! I guess that, at some point, you will decide to turn one of those narrower edges into a bottom fuller. You could move steel fast with a nice radius on the spine of that thing. Let us know how the steel smashing went!

October 22, 20169 yr Remember that project was intended to get your brain working! What do you need in an anvil?
