Michael Cochran
I was doing some looking for 18 century ironwork after seeing it mentioned in a couple discussions here when I stumbled across this article http://www.traditionalbuilding.com/architectural-ironwork-guidelines/ In this article it discusses ways to finish the ironwork to help preserve it so it is able to better withstand the elements along with a few other things. I thought others might find it as interesting to read as I did. If this link violates guidelines please forgive me and delete this post, if it doesn't then feel free to delete this comment. Michael Cochran
I'm glad someone else found this to be good information. I don't do anything big or anything that gets all that much exposure but aspire to make some decorative items for the yard and definitely see good coming from following some of the advice given. SLAG
Ditto, Thank you for the reference. It is excellent & it will serve as an excellent introduction to an area that I have become very interested in. I'm already taking detailed notes on the article's content. SLAG.
