Boilerguy
Any info on this anvil would be appreciated great rebound around 90%
clinton
I would stay away from that anvil. According to Mr. Postman the Columbian anvil has a recessed triangle with a raised C. What I am seeing is a raised triangle with a recessed C. I would do a rebound test for sure. Info from Anvils In America pg. 213 It looks like a good anvil cast base obvious
swedefiddle
Good Morning, A Bird in the Hand is worth more than 12 in the Bush. It looks to be in a lot better shape than some of the Treasures some people show, here. What is the Story? "It was used by a REAL Blacksmith?" It doesn't look abused, It might take a liking to you!! Black Frog
There are some Columbians with the 'reversed' logo like that, sticking out. I've seen a few now. Looks like a fine anvil in great shape.
Frozenforge
With a 90% rebound thats pretty much all you need to know if you are planning on using it. It actually just looks like the mold maker just made a mistake when incorporating the logo. I would be pretty confident that it is a Columbian.
