Curtis87
Started with the intention of making a bracelet for my wife. But during the process I saw it take a different shape so I just went with it and I think it turned out pretty cool. Does anyone else have a project that turned into something completely different by the time it was finished?
Panday
Was that 2 pieces twisted together? What's it supposed to fit on now? Lol
Curtis87
Nothing really, it's just something to look at. It was a small curtain rod that I cut in half, then twisted the pieces together, the forge welded both ends
Frosty
Yeah if you do this very long you end up with a bunch of things that started out as something other than what they ended up. Sometimes much better somethings, though usually WHAT the!! thingies. Frosty The Lucky.
Daswulf
I do it all the time. Go to make one thing and somehow it doesn't want to be what I want it to be so it ends up being what it wants to be. its never bad when it doesn't end up back in the scrap pile. Frosty
I forgot to mention one valuable thing about unintended consequences. REMEMBER HOW THAT HAPPENED! It might be exactly what you want/need somewhere else. Frosty The Lucky.
