November 20, 201510 yr That's a decent price you got for yourself there. Level the face up with the stand, I much prefer a steel tripod stand. They're easy to make, it's easy to wedge the anvil in, you can work much closer for THOSE processes and best of all it really quietens them down. It's a matter of interfering with the resonance of the anvil, very much what makes Fisher anvils so quiet. One good clank and it's done with the sound. No matter how you mount her, she's a fine old Lady with a few more generations of blacksmith to give a career. She's a beauty. Frosty The Lucky.

November 22, 201510 yr Good going. I have watched some sellers drop huge amounts after their items don't sell after awhile. Being patient can pay off. Don't worry about the tilt, just adapt to it.
