GottMitUns
Has anyone ever used one of the new 6" post vices that Blacksmith Depot sells? Russell
CKillgore
I think I'm the only one crazy enough to have bought it. -_- It is very nice! Not as heavy as I thought it would be. I had spent a good deal of money on an antique one. Everything seemed to work fine but it just would not grip the material that well. Could not figure it out. Just decided to buy that one and not worry about it. It grips very very well :D
petere76
Made in India. They aren't cast they are forged, not the best fit but very serviceable. At USD 200 the average vise on e bay is a better deal but...they are used , old and you have to adjust them and make them right. I have an old Indian Chief in the shop and a big newer Indian manufactured vise. They both do the job. Peter
Glenn
That vise is $700 plus shipping (6 inch jaws).

Didn't buy it spent money on the best one we already had.
CKillgore
I believe it is actually made in Turkey. Not that it matters. It was actually a gift. I probably would not have bought it if was my money. I am very happy with it though. It is a great vice.
