SpankySmith
Is that a pig? Awesome! I can think of some local BBQ restaurants that would love such a gate, is that what it was for?

Fe-Wood
Super Michael! Love the pig design! We sell pigs as pets.... I might have to make one of those for my partner!
Dillon Sculpture
Quick build for Peach & the Porkchop (slightly north of south) The gates have self closing hinge to keep them rolling through and I left the pig tail rivet a bit loose to give the kids something to play with :D Also built some seating for the wait to feast, fabricated from two 3/8" x 6" angle (rolled lintels) someone had junked. They just need a pig skinned cushion!
lupiphile
Man alive, I like that bench. Did you just wax it? On the subject of the gate though, I thought, at this point, you refused any job that didn't require your bridge crane and steam hammer?.....Take care, Matt
Dillon Sculpture
Thanks Matt, I lacquered the benches. I guess thats the point of my post. This was my first job after finishing Ascension, a pretty major commission. I don't normally turn away work if it fits my time schedule and I can make a profit. This job had to be cost effective for the client so it was just another challenge to be creative with the material and the process.

DSW
I may have to show that picture of the pig gate to the guy who sponsors our local 4-H pig club. He'll get a real kick out of it. Nice job on all the work.

Woggwoo
Great design Dillon. I like how subtle the theme is and how it works so well with the scrollwork. Very cool.
