I Forge Iron

First 'real' knife in a while.

I've been doing nothing but spike knives lately because they're a lot faster to make and sell better around here, but I picked up some buffalo horn and got a little inspired. :) I forged and ground this one yesterday and did the handle today. Made from leaf spring, heat treated it, and added the buffalo horn handle. This was also my first time doing a bolster on a knife, made that from stainless. I really liked this one a lot, I think I'll keep it. :D

Looks neat. maybe do another and angle the depressions in the blade the same as the ones in the scales...?

That's the same thing my wife told me. If I would have thought about it beforehand I would have. I'm still happy with it though.

I like it very much just the way it is. Both the shape of the blade and the rugged design on it with the grooves.

Can you give the "technical data" on it. Blade length, thickness,OAL, etc.

Thanks for sharing.

Greetings
