PaulKrzysz
I made a video showing how I made a 90 degree hardy tool today.Video shows me forging a hardy tool for my 7/8'' hardy hole. The tool was forged from 1 1/8'' 4140, forged to finish, no grinding. I learned to be be careful with the hollows, and not to try to bring round to square in such tools. Also added are pictures of the tool, and the bottle openers I made using it.
SoCal Dave
Good video and love the music. I wanted the hammer blows to be in time with the music. Good editing. Nicely done.
ThomasPowers
I think showing you doing the heavy work over the sweet spot of the anvil would have been nice; it looked like you were getting toward the front of the face at times.
VaughnT
Excellent job. I particularly like the stamped decoration you did on the side. If you had continued that all the way around, I think it would have been absolutely rocking. I noted that you were hitting your tongs a lot. This is fairly common when you have tong jaws that are tall and are trying to work in a small area.
