May I add a me too on the grinder, neat idea for bringing the mountain to.....

I got the grinder from the local engineering shop and have been waiting for the rite job for it. works well. I think it may have been a tube polisher?

That anvil is incredible...I want one.

Well, I for one think it's just plain good sense to have the anvil large enough to not require a stand.

Excellent results.  She's a beauty, no doubt.

 

I've seen belt sanders like that before, always shop-built.  The angle of the belt determines how narrow a gap it can get into and it's definitely great for cleaning up welds and such.
