greenpanther07 Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Hello everyone. I have ventured into the world of knife making. I'm hooked. I used a 10" table saw blade without carbide tips. I understand this is not the best way to make knives but I wanted to try it out. I have made two from it so far. The first one I made is a full tang with black walnut handle and brass riveted pins. I used super glue for the finish on the scales. The second one I did is a hidden tang with a stacked bamboo handle. I used a clear satin polyurethine to seal this handle. Let me know what you think. I did not sand the metal past 600 grit and didn't buff them. I need to work on my grinding, but this metal was quite thin to start and didn't leave much to put a bevel on . Thanks for you time!
