Melchior
Hello, I finished a paper towel holder yesterday evening. It has been wire brushed and a thin coat of linseed oil applied.
Willway Forge
Looks cool, any chance you could take the roll off so we could admire the base? I like the design :)
Jim Coke
Greetings Melchior, Neet paper towel holder.... I have made several and found that I hate ones that take up counter space... I found a great use for those political sign frames that end up on your lawn... It's the best use I never read them anyway... Jim
Frosty
I like it Melchior, a couple eyes and some toes on the feet and it'd look like a Muppet. Frosty The Lucky.
Melchior
Thanks for the compliments. Jim, I agree, it is annoying that they take up counter space. I liked the one that you made. A muppet, yes... I love muppets.

BIGGUNDOCTOR
Wouldn't the political sign frames make better toilet paper holders?
Jim Coke
Greetings Biggun, Yep your right . Sign frames would make a better after dinner roll holder... LOL .. I have made that style paper towel holder for years .. I started that design by necessity because the ones I had would flap at night when the heat came on and set off the alarm... Everyone thinks there cool and I have made several.. The counter weight keeps things from flappin... Forge on Jim
BIGGUNDOCTOR
I hadn't even noticed the counterweighted arm, nice touch for breezy areas.
