postleg Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 This is my latest piece. It was inspired by someone in this forum( can't remember who) that posted pic of a fish he had made using washers. I thought it was very cool and had already downloaded pics of the real fish and after seeing his fish. I decided to get started. Bob is made of oval slugs cut by a laser tube cutter we have at work some sheet steel and the teeth are forged rod. His eyes are used laser lenses. Quote
Frosty Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I LOVE Bob! I've seen a few really cool projects made this way. At the Alaska State Fair last fall there were a number of similar sculptures made from silverware. I wanted to give it a lash but now you've almost spurred me off my plump rump, Let the search for cool small shapes to use BEGIN! Bob is so cool, a real seller I think. Goo on ya! Frosty The Lucky. ThomasPowers Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Does he have a working LED in his "lure"? It would make such a great night light... Quote
