Open forge went well this morning, Two new blacksmiths and the "old pro" Carl Zvonek came. we had two coal forges and a gasser hot. No one got hurt ,and NOTHING got stolen. I am willing to do it again next, and every Saturday morning.

Thanks again Danny, for opening up your shop to us. I had a great time and am looking forward to my next visit.

Would love to, but don't have a passport or airfare, or opportunity with domestic situation. Any pics would be better than none.

I am opening the shop and providing forges, both coal and gas, power hammer, tools, and materials to ANYONE who wants to come and use it. The opportunity for someone who wants to try blacksmithing is there, also the chance to meet pro blacksmiths and see what a production deco ironworks shop does. It can grow with interest shown into a teaching event or even a new group. I WILL get pics and document the development of this.

sounds really good rusty :) look forward to hearing about how the meetings progress..

It's always good to see the development of a new project,

Good luck with it to you all.

Several members asked " what should I bring"? Safety glasses are a must have, clear is best indoors. Gloves are optional, bring your hammer if you want too,.... and if you got a diggy camera please bring it , and use it.
