Laoich23
Paying $1000 for it with extra jaws, steady rests, and a trunk load of other extras. Ran smooth. I am excited.

Swamptroll
It sounds good, just remember SAFETY first when running it

Arbalist
Nice, wish I had a lathe with a thread cutting gearbox rather than change wheels!
Norseman C.B.
I like the steel desk mount idea you can keep all your tooling organized and right close to the action along with ease of cleanup I think there is a model that has a desk bench type base
HWooldridge
Logans are good machines; similar to a small SB or Sheldon. It looks like the 3-jaw has reversible jaws; a good thing in a small chuck. You'll want a 4-jaw if it didn't come with the package. IIRC, the Jet machines were modeled on the Logan.
progun3400
Looking good. Logan (Logan Actuator Harvard Illinois) still has many parts available for these machines.
Fe-Wood
I have a logan! Its a little small for my needs at this point but was a perfect first lathe for me. If this is your 1st lathe, May I suggest the SouthBend book "how to run a lathe"? Its a really good place to start...
pkrankow
There is a fella on ebay who has reproductions of the original manuals for many of these old machines. I got my Atlas manual from him. While change gears are good, a gear box is better! Phil
