ThomasPowers
Someone wanting but a single datum from AinA is unlikely to buy it; however by continually mentioning it and the information it contains does serve as free advertising to the very select group that might be interesting in buying it. Read Mikey's experience with his book actually being pirated and sales going UP afterwards.
Donal Harris
You are likely right. I know I never would have heard of it if I hadn’t read about it here. Although it would be pretty hard to not learn of it if you were to Google “anvil identification”. The first hit is to a Facebook page that cites it. The second hit is an IFI posting you made in response to someone looking to ID his unmarked anvil here in 2016. Mr. Postman should give Glenn a cut if he doesn’t already. Donal Harris
No. The hit (NPI) was to your answer here on IFI in 2016. We’ll not your answer exactly. Yours was not the first answer, but the first useful one.
Frosty
OMG!! NOW he's accusing you of being useful! What IS the world coming to? Frosty The Lucky.
ThomasPowers
Hey now; I've had a long career being useful as a bad example. Many the time the pastor has put his hand on my shoulder while preaching! I guess I wasn't the curmudgeon back then that I am now...
Frosty
Sorry, the obvious sometimes slips my mind and I'm famous for "don't do it THAT way! actions myself. We're all developing our curmudgeonocity daily, skills take practice. Carry on. Frosty The Lucky.
Jabadamutt
Help, I can not open the catalog! My Hay Budden is a 1907 147 pounder, with a ferries clip.
ThomasPowers
Unfortunately this site lost all the old links when an "upgrade" was forced on it. However I was easily able to find a copy on the BAMsite site: http://www.bamsite.org/books/Hay Budden 1914 Catalog.pdf Hope that helps.
