Very nice bunch of anvils you have there.

Thank you Mark:D

Are the Kohlswa's the most predominant anvil found in your part of the world, or do you focus your collection on them? Considering they are made in Sweden, it would stand to reason that they would be more common than other brands.

I would love to get my hands on the 672 pound London Pattern Kohlswa that is still being cast.

thats so cool! im quite envious! thanks for tracking the progress of your addiction for us - its very funny!:)

Yes, i find them quite handy, its called the North-German form, made in Sweden but it has the North-German form.

OLD baby made in 1944? Most of mine are about 30+yrs older. Shoot I was made in 45
ain't OLD yet. As an old swede I would like one. Can't find a good affordable one. Enjoy.

Very nice anvils Joe.
I have two Peter Wrights, an American Wrought and an ancient mousehole.
Maybe your four anvils could get together with my four anvils for a play date?:D

Made in 1944, must have been made at the latter end of WW2. How is the quality compared to the post war anvils?

sure if that is what you have if it doesnt break when you pound steel on it then it will work:)

is that style of anvil hard to come by?
