I am 24 years old and I live a bit outside the 'twin cities' of MN (over the boarder in WI). About 40 minutes east of st. paul. I have many passions and creating things is one of them. I have been working on getting the ball rolling on a few inventions for a bit now and I have decided to take matters into my own two hands. I seek the knowledge of putting pieces of metal together. Posting pics, asking questions and reading the various sections of the site are good ways to become active here. Personally I'm a bit bashful to be very active but I'm working on it. If you'll click "User CP" at the top of the page and edit your profile to show your location it can make a big difference. IFI is represented by members from more than 50 countries and a lot of info is location specific. If local folk know you're there they can invite you to gatherings, tip you to tool deals ond offer hands on help. Contacting UMBA and maybe joining would be a good move as well there are a LOT of talented metal heads in your general area. LOTS.
