philip in china Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 Tongs hold stuff. If they hold what you want them to then they are good tongs! I usually make the reins from rebar as I get it free. If we think that we could not do better we will likely only get worse, since that is not an objective and true analysis of what I or you made. I think that when first tongs work that is a good thing esp. if you didn't have some one to show you how. It shows a willingness to go out there and do it which is what all the top people do.
