May 28, 200917 yr You would have to make something that has a pic of the tool and then all the common offcial names that are assigned to it. Then another block that contained nicknames. It would be quite the task. Think about the fact that in the USA we have about five different regional names for soft drinks, ex. POP, Soda, Cola, Coke.... Edited May 28, 200917 yr by ChrisB typo
May 28, 200917 yr Author I'm talking about a tool to help us all understand each other's information. Some of the differences in the use of words can be confusing. For example: An English man would be in far more danger than an American if his pants were on fire!
May 28, 200917 yr I see your point ...funny we all are speaking English but! I think your own to something here. I know in America that the different area's say things in a different way . a few years ago Reader's Digest put out a dictionary on American Colloqulalism that really pointed that out... How would you suggest going about this ...posting a picture with a question as what do you call this where your from? Edited May 28, 200917 yr by jimbob
