Finally got my hydraulic press finished tonight. Can't wait to use it.

Got my press welded up, now to make dies and wait for pump and control valve

Thanks for the info ThomasPowers, the ring is not a dull thud but I will post a short video later with ballbearing and ring test. Thanks again for the info from everyone.

Ball bearing test was great,not sure what the ring should be on something that size, base seems to be cast iron but I am not positive. Face looks like it has been recently resurfaced what should the ring sound like? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information, i will most likely add another inch of insulation for now. That should take care of any issues with the cubic inch formula, correct?
