(Seven years after this post) I tried to press a fuller into a blade I was making out of some two inch by quarter inch leaf spring. Here's the results.
Thanks for kind remarks. Base is a 18" disc overall height is 26.5 inches. Background was added in PS. Too bad I didn't see that little bit of mig wire laying on the base or I would of PS'd it outta there!
Yeah, now that I think about it, it just complicates the idea of the 22 ton air / hydraulic press I've all ready built.
Thanks for the quick input.

Has anyone built or would it be a good idea to build a power hammer out of a jack hammer? I have a couple of them laying around and a good air compressor. Seems like it would be an easy build.

I find most people appreciate the uniqueness of the wrench, rr spike and horseshoe knifes. They usually buy them for their 'Papa' who's probably not going to run out and stab somebody, anyhow. They are happy and I make a few bucks, (which makes mama happy).
Just finished a set of wrench steak knives for a U.S. Marine who is soon to return from Afghanistan. He's happy, too!
Rock, bone, flint, obsidian, bronze, copper, iron, steel, ceramics and titanium are some of the materials knives are made from. I guess a knife has to knows its' limitations too!

Yeah. Thank goodness D-0-D stuff is over so I can get back to some serious goofin' off!
See what I did today posted in the knife section under Horseshoe knife.

cnc plasma... (has obsoleted a lot of my equipment). I do have two motorized scroll saws standing by if I run outta stuff to do.
The other pieces are left overs from my spur making phase.
