as an american i dont know if i can read that book i got the idea from "the backyard blacksmith" by lorilei sims

ok it was a good idea and i will have quite a bit of tweeking to do my welds are terrible right now i think its cause i never welded in a box before so this is a prototype to learn by hope the next one will turn out better

i am starting on an anvil stand i have it drawn out in autocad right now waiting to be set up on the plasma table will post pics as it come together it will be a sand filled stand with a floating plate on top of the sand with a small amount of room about an eighth in. and 1 in of extra room between the needed height for the plate and the top none of this will be forged that i know of yet anyway

will try wire brush though thanks

well i dont want it to rust away more than it has its already hard to read

what about surface rust on the sides i want to paint the sides so the lettering is more visible and i am not worried about the face cause i know that will just work off

any one from georgia usa? i have found another site where there are quite a few just would like to meet any if they are here

a project i did for a girl cousin who broke her arm a few days ago the paint hides the blemishes very well

to tell u the truth the smoke doesnt bother me much just when i turn the blower while lighting but its not in its permanent sutup yet so that might change the vise is on the other corner from the blower and the anvils about 3 feet behind that threaded rod like i said its not set up right yet
i think i will forget the chimney till its set up the right way thanks though

thats the way it is ferrous that four in pipe has a closed off 3-1/2 in inside with that threaded rod to adjust the holes open or closed the pic i got of that didnt turn out good so i trashed it
