ok all thats left now is the finishing lol i just have to stain and seal the handle and it will be finished. Rough shaping pics ok next pics will be shined blade and final shape for the hanlde which is oak i am tossing tis idea up in my mind. maybe i should take that part of the handle on the top of the blade closer to the highth of the blade

I went through the thread, and felt compelled to throw a thought into the breeze..I live 2000 miles from you folks, so I feel qualified to state my position as a disinterested individual. If a potential student can't find the energy to respond to an invitation from an established craftsman in real words, I would personally go out of my way to dis-invite the newbie from my shop. Lose the text-speak.

wont turn out quite as long as planned the tip broke twice as i was ahem forcing the handle on al little much but it was a little long already for a paring knife changed my mind bout the handle type it got an oak one it all needs grinding out yet just glued the handle on today so will post pics when i get it basic shaped again lol

let me know when you are back pls as i would like to come peer over your shoulder so to speak and learn what you got to teach if you wouldnt mind if you are from lousville i am sure you have heard of central steel buildings then. i live in the brick house across the road from there and kyler lives across the woods from there.
I am in my shop in Louisville Ga from time to time. I should be back there by the end of the month. -
