Bozo's on the Bus....
Somewhere I once read something along these lines ....the labourer uses his hands, the craftsman, his hands and his mind, the artist, his hands, his mind and his heart. I reckon. you are well on the way to being an artist.

I asked how big is too big.... I went big.
...a man with a Rune and a 500 pound anvil, and I thought that I was blessed with a GoldWing and a 400 pound Peter Wright. I suppose there are those who have and then there are those who really have.:)

Overkill
I rather enjoyed this topic and the little banter and gentle argie-bargie that went with it. A bit of light relief from all the political correctness that is thrust upon us and particlarly as all the protaganists appeared suitably well disposed to their subject. So, to you all thank you and Stu, I know you are touchy on spelling. Syllabus is spelt with an a not an i.

Motorcycle ride to Abana Conference
Interestingly, I wonder how many other members of this site are also motorcyclists. GoldWing and Stratoliner me me. Unfortunately I'm on the wrong continent to join you, but if you do ride to the conference, have a safe one.

Taper die
Iron, I have followed this thread with much interest. I have had my C40 Anyang (88lbs) for over 10 years and it has performed flawlessly with one exception, the oiler. Please give me some insight into what has been done by the American importer to remedy this rather irritating problem. I can vouch for everything positive said about the Anyang. I bought mine directly from the factory in China through the internet and the service I received from them was unbelievably excellent. I also have a Chinese lathe which is ok-ish but not in the league of the Anyang Thanks, Kevan

Navaro
I have watched the progress with much interest and am very impressed with the result. As Beth said, sometimes you have to ignore the hours, they are gone, in any case, your effort will be around for a long time. Well done.
