I have been trying to come up with something I can make 15 or 20 of to give family and friends for Christmas and I'm not coming up with much. I thought about the crosses that Pete asked about but I don't have a band saw. I thought about using a hacksaw but I'm not looking forward to doing that. I thought about trolls from RR spikes but I don't have any punches or chisels to make them with and they are probably over my head anyway... S hooks? Wall hooks? Leaves? Any other ideas? :confused:

There is a local "home decor" shop that has S-hooks, trivets, nails/spikes, candle holders for sale. They have a display with the smiths name and the city where he lives. I don't know if they are on consignment or what kind of arrangement he has with the store but it certainly got my attention...

I don't think the seller knows the difference between cast and wrought. If I'm wrong and they are cast then I'm out $45.00 and lesson learned. Did you look at the pictures? :)

I've never gotten a second chance offer. I guess they weren't willing to take what I was willing to pay...:cool:
