August 21, 2025Aug 21 Quick question: I've got five or six dozen 36" lengths of 18mm (23/32") W-1 drill rod that I'm planning to take to Quad-State for my tailgating table. I've seen these listed online for anywhere from $23 to $55; I'm thinking $20 each, make me an offer for larger quantities. Does that seem reasonable, or am I leaving money on the table?
August 21, 2025Aug 21 That kind of depends on what they cost you. You have quite a bit, start at 25 or so with room to haggle a buck or two and offer better pricing for larger quantities.
August 21, 2025Aug 21 A 36" piece of 3/4" (19mm) W-1 drill rod sells for ~$40 new from MSC. I would price them at $26.47, no really $25 seems like it would a fair deal even $30 if you take the price down for people buying bulk.
