Goods
Angiolino, if you have access to YouTube, check out Torbjorn Ahman’s channel. He has a pretty good video on making one, which was my inspiration. I used a standard hammer eye drift for the eye, and forged the end of a metal handle to match. Here is the post from when I finished mine up: Keep it fun, David
Frosty
Angiolino! Good to see you posting again. I've forged a few chipping hammers but I cheat I used old ball pein hammer heads and put wooden handles on them. It's easy to forge the hammer eye closed around and weld in a steel rod if you want a spring type handle though. I've never made one from scratch though. Frosty The Lucky. Frosty
He sure put a lot of work into a chipping hammer. Looks like a nice on though. All the chipping hammers I've used are a lot lighter than his and the ones in the other pictures look to be. Frosty The Lucky.

Frosty
Good to see you posting again Angiolino. Is that the chipping hammer you made, how does it work? I think you'll want a better handle though. Being polished round pipe that small will be hard to hold securely and tiring. Frosty The Lucky.
