Looking for Frosty T-Burner Plans

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked a gazillion times, but where I can find Frostys' own plans and tuning instructions for his Frosty T burners. All I come up with are youtubes by wanna be experts. I have found links to PDFs but they've all turned up dead.

Trust me, I hate asking my question. I have tried and failed to find the plans as created by Frosty. Can I blame my age??

Thank you all...... this is a great web site

P.S. I registered with a different email address and lost the my password.  The password reset function did not work.  I tried multiple times over several days and never get a password reset email in my inbox or in spam.

How hard did you look and where? Trying a search on the web, even if you include "iforge" in the search terms will usually get a load of good builds all the way to dangerous nonsense.

I just looked the plans are still available on iforge. open a new Iforge page, click on Iforgeiron at the top right. scroll down till you get to the "forges" section, click it. Scroll to gas forges, click it and do some looking.

I'd just link you but I don't do that anymore, it got so nobody bothered to even look they expected me to, even got angry sometimes.

I'm not accusing of anything just explaining why I don't link the plans.

If you run into problems building one give me a shout I'm happy to help.

I hope im not out of line posting this, if so im sorry.

If you want to message me an email address, I've got a pdf created by His Benevolence that I've had since probably well before I knew who Frosty was.

"His Benevolence?"

Nice log of sarcasm to put the blank YOU in a post.

In the book "Voyage of the Dawn Treader", the honorific for the Governor of the Lone Islands is "His Sufficiency".

Our dear Mr. Frost, if I'm breathing, I'm probably being ironic, or at the least flippant, especially if it's towards myself.

However, given all the trouble you've gone to in coaching and mentoring about eighty brazillion blacksmiths and would-be blacksmiths, having provided such documents and instructions as the pdf that I got from god-know-where, even if occasionally done in a curmudgeonly manner, and the considerable amount of thought and effort you put into your answers, I can think of less accurate things to call you than benevolent. Twas meant as a mildly flippant compliment.

I might also add the ironic but truthful: trustworthy, loyal, friendly courteous (mostly), kind, and cheerful (also mostly). Not having met in person, I can't speak as to obedient, clean, or reverent, but I'm glad to know ya just the same. If I ever aim to insult on the other hand, you'll know it. I apologize to the forum. I was in a mood. I should stop watching the news and checking the forum at the same time. My bad, no excuse.
