June 6, 20242 yr Today June 6th is the anniversary of the largest sea invasion to ever take place. Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy France to face off against a well entrenched Axis. These men faced unsurmountable odds many never even setting foot on the beach and even more to never return home. Through sheer determination and courage they were victorious. They truly were the greatest generation.
