Laycock 60 tonne

I have a laycock 1551 press I am missing the pump and the gauge I'm in the process of restoring it does anyone scrap these or keep spare parts or even one with a bad frame   I would like to keep it original  and not add parts that don't suit .

Welcome to the forum, Fergal. We are an international forum, so I would suggest putting your location in your profile settings. Spare parts might not help if they're halfway around the world!

Good Morning,

Where are you making a shadow? Put your general location in your avatar, then anyone knows where you are standing or sitting.

Welcome from the Ozark Mountains. It looks like your location was not saved in your profile, or it would show under your log on with every post.

I tried a search as suggested in the Read This First thread and came up with this thread, may help.

Is your press a hand operated pump? most of the responses indicated hand operated and were from the UK.

Yes it is a hand operated  press well it was someone e has stripped it out looking for original pump and original gauge would buy a complete one if I had to  condition not important  as my frame is good .  I'm  based in UK/Ireland.
