jlpservicesinc Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 When I first started I noticed my hands would get fatigued when I used my hearth tools.. So I eventually developed this handle and it was a game changer.. Quote
Michael Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 What an incredibly instructive video! I feel like I know exactly how to do this from one watch. You're a great teacher! Michael Quote
Glenn Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Jennifer, would you be kind enough to add a photo and the way the handle is held in your hand during use ? Thanks. Quote
jlpservicesinc Posted April 3, 2022 Author Posted April 3, 2022 Here you go Glenn. This handle is 30 yrs old. Doesnt even have my stamp in it. I've included a photo of the straight poker as well. I do not put the same handle on different tools. I wanna look down and instantly know what I'm grabbing. Quote
Glenn Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Thank you. I did not know if the pig tail contacted the heel of the hand or the pinkie finger, or not. Quote
jlpservicesinc Posted April 3, 2022 Author Posted April 3, 2022 Your welcome.. No problem at all.. No it does not.contact the pinky or the back of the hand (aka wrap around the hand or fingers). That would be uncomfortable.. Over the years I have made this item at shows and way, way back I did that thinking it would help with control and it just made my pinky raw. The handle width on the opening can be adjusted for comfort. I've found the best handle shape is the one that disappears while using it. I suppose I should do a video on my favorite shovel handle next.. Quote
