New bracket for feeder

Recommended Posts

Looks good Papy but I don't see hummers. We won't believe there are hummers without pics you know. Hmmmmm, hmmmmm, hmmmmm?

Seriously, hummers are attracted to red, a little food coloring in the nectar or paint on the feeder or bracket. It only has to be close to the feeder and they'll zero right in.

My winged warriors love this Kerr jar feeder.  There's a red feeder about three feet away and this one gets all the birds.  Any movement and they're gone. To many cats &dogs in the neighborhood.

Once the hummers know there's a feeder they don't need help finding it again, true. It's attracting the first couple where red helps then let the feeding frenzy begin!

The Hummers at my house still fly up to my porch and give me stink eye cause i have not put out a feeder in a few years...   I guess i will have to make a hanger and set one up this year to see if that makes them happier.
