MC Hammer
Great scoop! Sometimes you just have to keep checking places like CL and you get lucky. Looks like it's in great using condition.
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
There have been several threads about them. A quick google search. Yours looks to be in good usable condition and the price was definitely right. https://www.google.com/search?q=hill+anvil&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-
Judson Yaggy
I had a Hill (200#) for a few years. Good solid anvil, slightly oddball hardy hole size.
Lou L
That's a mysterious Hill. Nearly identical profile to mine but it is definitely a different maker's mark. Isaac Hill passed how business on to a son (Thomas I think but memory isn't that great on the topic). I'm guessing it is a later one from the same family. bajajoaquin
AIA says Hill made anvils until about 1850. It’s got a Pritchel hole, so it’s likely after 1830. I know this because I also have a Hill. Mine is similar in shape but with a longer horn. Yours is in nicer condition, though. A buck a pound is a great deal.
