Hollon
Actually first knife at all. I bet everyone's getting tired of these. Anyway here it is.
Angus
I have made a hundred of these and will never get tired of them, very nice knife. A RR spike also works good for hatchets, just to give ya another idea.
saintjohnbarleycorn
I like seeing the different designs, I have only made one myself.

Hollon
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Now what could I do to make it better (though I probably should have posted more pictures to help with that).
SoldierSpud
I have just been introduced to Blacksmithing by my Dad. I like anything made from rail road spikes. Looks good. Jim
Phil Dwyer
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Now what could I do to make it better (though I probably should have posted more pictures to help with that). Did you see this spike knife, http://www.iforgeiron.com/forum/f14/rail-road-spike-5182/#post46469? It's pretty cool. I think the crispness of it makes it fairly striking. I've got a long way to go to develop clear clean lines like that. Hopefully I'll have my first one up here soon too. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for sharing. --Phil
