May 30, 201610 yr Just wanted to show you guys my first forge! It's a 2x2 side-blast filled with sand. So far seems to work out great! just did a test burn in it and a little drawing and tapering. took a 1/2" rod and drew it out 3" down to 1/4". I dont think i did to bad for my first time doing this. I just want to thank Charles Stevens for his post on a side-blast dirt forge as i based mine off of his post!!!

May 30, 201610 yr Acualy, my first thought was, "hmm where have I seen that forge before..." But I am glad my playing in the dirt is helping some one else.
