Barbecue fork

Looks like a pretty heavy duty barby fork to me, mate. Our local steel supplier gave me a length of 10mm stainless rod (don't know the number) and I forged a leaf hook from it. Could have done three in mild steel in the time it took. Nice finish but hard work ay?

Still pretty heavy duty but it's a LOT easier to forge SS thick than trying to thin it down a lot. I've made toasting forks from 304 SS and it's a PITA working it in the proper forging range. It got to where I was forging tines individually to stay in temp range and not ruin it.

Nice piece, I appreciate all the work it represents, going to make more?
