crobb Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I spent the first part of this week in North Carolina at Hoffman Blacksmithing learning how to make knives. It was a lot more work than I was expecting but I had a great time. Liam Hoffman makes some really nice knives and I am glad I was able to learn from him. It is nessmuk inspired. The handle is Brazilian cherry scales with copper pins. The blade is 1095 hi-carbon steel etched and hand sanded to 1000 grit with a hamon.
