Charles R. Stevens
Not bad at all, tho a cuple of punched and counter sunk holes would look beter with the screws. Might try a forged nail with a roset head insted

ThomasPowers
the "local" coal supplier to me is a 5 hour drive each way; quite likely that Charles' supplier is closer than that to you...
Charles R. Stevens
Join the saltfork craftsmen, I think it's a $140 a ton, at on of the three coal piles, northwest, central and south east if I remember. The Norman pile is closest to me, but I use a lot of scrap wood and forge with charcoal. Or you can hit TS and get hard coal, I also imagine if their is a farrier supply up your way they can order it (Nature farms in Norman caries it) Edited October 25, 2015 by Charles R.
