New axe maker Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 I'm looking at building a pipe style 2 frosty t burner forge. I'm thinking about 18-24 inches long but not sure on the width. My proforge has 2 and honestly other than heating 4 shoes at a time in a hurry it is just to much for most work, as you can only hammer about 6" of hot by hand befor it gets to cool. Charles R. Stevens Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 Thats the probblem with gas, you end up with 2 or three forges. A one or two brick, a on burner and a two burner.
