So I finally got around to using my new anvil only been blacksmithing for maybe 3 months off and on due to having problems with getting fuel but more to the point I finally got a well needed tool my first pair of tongs  Wish i had some video to go along with the pictures but sadly I don't. Give me your opinions.
These we're made from memory only I did not use pictures, references 

looks good, as long as they work they are a good set of tongs

Haven't got the chance to try them yet going to try them tomorrow

make the part you are going to hold as smooth and easy on the hands as you can!

Wrapping the handles in leather thonging can help with the comfort levels

I used them today they work fine handles are not too uncomfortable  and the leather might be a nice touch

So I made another set... 

Reins are a bit big I know... was working it down from 1 inch stock and ran out of coal.
