WalkerRiley
Hi everyone....normally I'd do an intro post but time is short... Gentleman is selling an anvil. I got some pics off of him and wanted to defer to your superior judgment on if it's worth the price. Asking price is $250. American Wrought. He's saying it's 130#. It looks a bit rough but wanted you folks' opinion on it. Appreciate it!
arftist
Actually it looks brand new, and at that price is a steal. I sold almost the exact same anvil 4 years ago for more than double that.
WalkerRiley
Nice. I wasn't sure as the surface looked a bit ripped up, but I was figuring that was just rust from poor storage that'd come off with some use. Thanks for the quick response. Black Frog
That's one of the nicest American's I've seen. Many people here would be jumping all over that if they could.....
KYBOY
Buddy, run don't walk and get that anvil..Its a steal! A wire cup and she'll clean up like a new penny and with a little forging that face will shine. Edited August 13, 2015 by KYBOY

Stash
Not only is the top in great shape, it's level, too. Grabbit! Steve
WalkerRiley
It is mine now. Again, thanks for all the feedback. Soon as I saw it in person I had to have it, regardless. I'm gonna give the nonworking surface a good wire brush and linseed oil treatment, and post pics once she's all cleaned up.
