July 9, 201510 yr Very nice as a first one; I assume it's just the first pattern welded one though.Too often I see folks who are doing a decent job of welding but their knife designs and finish would be considered too crude and clunky for a prison shiv!

July 12, 201510 yr Author Sorry for poor photo.Bevels on guard are just for appearance and to cut a little weight.Finnish is not as nice as I would like. Am attaching another photo with better lighting.
July 12, 201510 yr Don't apologize, not a lot of guys know how to control lighting photographing shiny stuff and the First wasn't bad. So I was a photography geek in years past.
